Figuring out how to eat more veggies will improve your health & help you lose weight.
Here are 4 ways to sneak them in without anyone noticing:
𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐬
I use this one on the reg and if I could make it through the meal without saying, “guess what’s in these mashed potatoes?!” no one would ever know.
How: Cut a whole head into florets, steam them, add to the boiled potatoes, and mash all together. (You could also buy microwavable cauliflower to save time.)
𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐬
This addition doesn’t affect the taste at all, but will make your concoction green. Call them Hulk or Shamrock Shakes to explain the color and no one will know they’re drinking vegetables.
How: Toss a handful of frozen spinach in with whatever else you’re blending.
𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐳𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬
Extra volume and nutrients without affecting the flavor of whatever you’re making? Yes!
How: Swap out 1 cup of oil for 1 cup of shredded zucchini in your baking recipes or add 1/2 zucchini per serving of oatmeal.
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐭
Burger patties or meatballs provide the perfect opportunity to toss in some extra nutrients. Once it’s all mixed in, you won’t know it’s there and it’ll just make the meal seem more substantial.
How: Finely dice veggies like mushrooms, yellow squash, or red peppers and mix into your ground meat before cooking.
